CONTACT

Hello and welcome

Thanks for visiting dittofunky.com // Christine Liu // sketchcadet website!

Rooted in the vibrant heart of Chinatown, New York City, I bring stories to life as an illustrator, designer, and surface pattern artist. My creative services are always crafted to fit each client's unique vision.

I am a graduate of Parsons School of Design, Parsons Paris, and Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music and Art. My skills span both traditional and digital media.

I have several years of experience as an in-house designer, including roles as a surface pattern designer, package designer, design manager, and PLM. My freelance work covers fabric design and live sketching for special events. Past clients include Burberry, and current clients include Fabric Traditions. During the pandemic, I worked as a graphic designer for Weldon Design, a creative stationery and calligraphy studio.

I stay connected to the creative pulse by engaging with groups like Surface Pattern Designers, SCBWI, and Storyteller Academy.

Recently, I collaborated with dancers in the Dance Art! project, contributed to Uppercase Magazine (Uppercase #45, #47, #52, #58, #68), and joined The Art Students League’s first comic anthology, This Quarantine Life. My art has also been featured in group exhibitions like NYC Drawing the Dance at Dixon Place and the Freelancers Hub Cartoonist and Illustrators Show.

You can find my artwork on the web and in several online stores. I am available for commission and freelance work as well:
